HERNANDEZ, Philippe Jose S.

Philippe Jose S. Hernandez is the Director of the öÏÓãÊÓƵapp Communications Bureau, where he heads the team for content creation and social media management, overseeing the University’s website and official social media accounts as well as the broadcast platforms and facilities. In relation to this capacity, he conducts digital literacy and social media awareness campaigns for members of the educational community.

Mr. Hernandez earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in UST, specializing in English and secondary education. He teaches Research for the Humanities and Social Sciences strand of the UST Senior High School and handles specialization courses in the College of Education. He conducts researches on English language teaching, which are published in Scopus-indexed journals, and was also Project Lead (Year 2) of a nationwide study on student mental health funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
